Dr. Park is an Associate Professor of Neurology (in Biomedical informatics) at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and Associate Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center (NYP/CUIMC). Dr. Park received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. After completing her Neurology residency at Boston University Medical Center, she completed Stroke and Critical Care fellowship at the Massachusetts General & Brigham and Women’s Hospitals.

Dr. Park provides care for patients with acute brain and spine injury in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit at NYP/CUIMC. She is also the program director for NewYork-Presbyterian’s Neurocritical Care Fellowship (a combined Columbia and Weill Cornell program). She is board certified in Neurology, Stroke, and Neurocritical Care. She is a Fellow of the American Heart Association and the Neurocritical Care Society. She serves as a board trustee for the Neurocritical Care Foundation and is an Associate Editor for Neurocritical Care.

Dr. Park’s research focuses on the development and clinical evaluation of innovative decision support tools in neurocritical care. Using continuous physiologic monitors and electronic medical record data, her work explores the optimal methods for creating predictive models to improve timeliness and precision in the diagnosis of preclinical vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage. She was a recipient of an NIH K01 Career Development Award in Biomedical Big Data Science, and her research is now supported by the NINDS.
