Three Research Scientists Help Columbia to Enhance its Research and Teaching of Data Science
The Data Science Institute has hired three new associate research scientists, each of whom is doing research and teaching that enhance the use of data science throughout Columbia University.
The three – Kriste Krstovski, Vince Dorie and Andreas Mueller – are using the most advanced data science techniques to solve some of society's most vexing problems. At Columbia, data science research touches upon every corner of the university, which is reflected in the interdisciplinary work of these three research scientists. They are also focused on teaching data science to Columbia students who will graduate to be leaders in academia, industry and government.
