Biography
Madiha Zahrah Choksi holds a PhD in Computing and Information Science
from Cornell Tech, with a minor in Law. Her research examines how online communities build and sustain shared governance infrastructure, working at the intersection of privacy, open-source licensing, and collective self-governance. Her doctoral work was advised by Helen Nissenbaum and James Grimmelmann.
Madiha is currently a postdoctoral research scientist at the Data Science institute, and a visiting fellow at the Information Society Project at Yale University. She holds additional degrees from Columbia University and the University of Toronto.
