Biography
Raghav Singhal is a Staff Associate II at Columbia University’s Data Science Institute. His research focuses on inference-time search for generative models, particularly diffusion models, and on rare-event estimation, with applications to AI safety and evaluation. He received his PhD in Computer Science from New York University, where his research spanned diffusion models, rare-event sampling and estimation, and machine learning for healthcare. He has also conducted research at Genesis Therapeutics, Microsoft Research, RadAI, and NYU Langone on topics including generative modeling and accelerated medical imaging.
