Administrative and Technical Staff

Reporting to the Director of Events and Marketing, the Events and Marketing Coordinator will play a central role in managing the logistics and operations of DSI’s busy events calendar. The Coordinator will take an end-to-end planning approach, overseeing the full lifecycle of events and liaising with faculty, leadership, facilities, catering, and AV/technical teams to deliver seamless, professional experiences. The role also supports event-related marketing activities, including digital outreach, event branding, and coordination of promotional efforts with internal and external partners. This is a one year, temporary position with the possibility of extension if funding is secured.

DSI invites candidates for the role of Grants Manager, Pre-Award to support our finance and grants function. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting all grant related pre-award administrative activities including assisting principal investigators in preparation and submission of proposals. The Grants Manager, Pre-Award will utilize their strong interpersonal skills and expertise to advise and ensure proposal compliance with all federal, sponsor and university guidelines, policies and procedures. This role involves researching funding opportunities, assisting faculty and staff in proposal development, ensuring compliance with sponsor guidelines, and managing internal and external systems for proposal tracking and submission. This position will report directly to the Director of Research and Grants Development.
