Jessica Pavone currently serves as Managing Director, Engagement and Programs at Columbia University’s Data Science Institute. In her role at DSI, Jessica is focused on engaging new and existing audiences to advance the organizational mission.
With a wide-ranging background in communications, events and program design, Jessica has served in multiple leadership roles across the public, nonprofit and institutional sectors, designing and leading strategic initiatives at Columbia, NYU, KIPP Foundation, NYC Department of Education and the American Red Cross. She is a skilled storyteller who has crafted and managed high impact communication and branding campaigns focused on repositioning and refining organizational narratives.
Jessica holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MPA from NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
