Lucy Simko is an assistant professor in computer science at Barnard College. Her research in usable security focuses on the security and privacy-related needs, practices, and experiences of under-served populations. Her work has been published at USENIX Security, IEEE S&P, PETS, ACM CCS, CHI, CSCW, and IDC. She is the recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and the co-recipient of an NSF Safe and Trustworthy Cybersecurity grant (SaTC). Lucy earned her PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington.
