Min Qian is an associate professor in Biostatistics at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Dr. Qian’s research is primarily focused on the development of data analytic methods to make better use of “big” data for informing decision making in health applications. This includes:
1) reinforcement learning for sequential decision making;
2) statistical inference for non-regular parameters;
3) sequential multiple-assignment randomized trials (SMART); and
4) mobile health applications.
