Radhika Patel joined the Data Science Institute leadership team as Chief Operating Officer in July 2022.
She was a founding team member of Columbia’s Office of University Life and most recently served as vice president for strategy and operations and has wide-ranging experience in operations, strategy, and team-building.
Prior to Columbia, Radhika was managing director for the American Red Cross and led long-term recovery for New York State after Hurricane Sandy. She also shepherded successful large-scale economic development and real estate investment advisory projects in New York City and abroad for a decade.
Radhika is a proud Columbia alumna; she completed master’s degrees in urban planning and international affairs from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and the School of International and Public Affairs. She also has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan.
