Chaolin Zhang
Systems Biology Assistant Professor
Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics Assistant Professor
Chaolin Zhang, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Department of Systems Biology, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics, and Motor Neuron Center at Columbia University. His lab uses a combination of computational and experimental methods to study RNA regulatory networks in the nervous system. In particular, he is interested in characterizing the regulatory networks that specify neuronal cell types, and how how these networks can be compromised in certain pathologic contexts, such as neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases.
