Data Science Institute (DSI) career fairs allow students to learn more about companies and organizations that will be hiring for full-time, part-time, and internship positions in the coming year.

The spring 2021 fair, which occurred on February 5, maintained its interactive nature, despite being virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students met with employers one-on-one and attended their choice of eight webinars.

Forty-five recruiters representing more than 20 employers across various sectors answered student and recent alumni questions and provided descriptions of their employers’ open positions. Four of the employers are current DSI industry affiliates.

“While we all want to get back to hosting a career fair in person, these types of activities are the new normal for job seekers,” said John Hyde, assistant director of career development and alumni services at DSI. “Students, alumni, and employers were very impressed with the structure of the event.”

The following employers participated in DSI’s spring 2021 career fair:

  • AWS Human-in-the-Loop
  • Axion Ray
  • CCB Fintech Co., Ltd.
