Christian Kroer is an assistant professor of industrial engineering and operations research at Columbia University. His research interests are in the areas of economics and computation, with a focus on how optimization and AI methods enable large-scale economic solution concepts.

Christian Kroer received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2018. Before coming to Columbia University he spent a year as a postdoc with the Core Data Science group at Facebook Research.
