The Data Science Institute is pleased to welcome this fall its most diverse incoming class yet: 100 students studying full-time for our 30-credit Master’s in Data Science, and 30 students studying for our part-time, 12-credit Certification of Professional Achievement in Data Sciences.
Students began arriving on campus for orientation in mid-August which included a cocktail reception at Dinosaur BBQ. A full list of courses for fall 2016 can be found online.
Among the incoming class of Master’s students is Jonathan Galsurkar, an adjunct computer science professor at Hunter College who recently won a $25,000 Monsanto scholarship. Read a profile of him here.
