Professor Steven Ellis is Associate Professor of Clinical Neurobiology in Psychiatry and Research Scientist at the New York Psychiatric Institute. His research interests are psychiatric statistics, applications of topology to data analysis, and statistical computing. He has used topology to study the instability of data analytic operations and invented and implemented his own method of topological data analysis. He has applied the method to psychiatric data.
