Cyber threats are not only a growing concern but an alarming one too, as many businesses are moving online to stay relevant in this world severely affected by COVID. In 2021, the avg total cost of Data Breaches recorded the highest in 17 years with around ~4.24 million USD.
Fraudsters have become more sophisticated. Information stored without proper locks over the internet is susceptible to attacks that can compromise data privacy and confidentiality, leading to several damages to a business.
In this session, we will explore: What Cyber Security means at Mastercard and How Data Science and AI get utilized in helping Mastercard’s customers understand and mitigate their Cyber Risk.
Bio: Himanshi is a Senior Data Scientist at Mastercard, where she is a part of the Cyber & Intelligence core Data Science team and has over six years of industry experience. She applies machine learning/AI, data mining & statistics, data engineering & cloud technologies to develop scalable data science & ML pipelines. She is passionate about delivering end-to-end solutions to enterprise business problems. She is intrigued by the diverse way data creates value for businesses of all shapes and sizes. She holds a Master’s in Business Analytics from the University of Utah and is a Dell Certified Data Science Professional. She champions Data Wrangling & cleaning and enjoys exploring new data sets in her spare time.
