As part of the R&D organization at J&J Consumer, Diana’s day to day work centers on developing incremental use cases to implement data science methods to improve the way we do Consumer Research in the Skin Health category. Examples of such use cases are performing data analytics to understand the consumer experience and developing methodologies to implement machine learning models to predict consumer liking of new formulations for skin care products. She holds a bachelor’s in biotechnology engineering with a concentration in new product development and entrepreneurship, and a Doctorate in Nutritional Sciences focused on understanding the connection between circadian rhythms, diet, and the gut microbiome under the framework of metabolic disease.
Kristina is a neuroscientist by training and a data scientist through practice. After graduating from MIT in 2018, she joined Johnson & Johnson’s Medical Devices R&D Data Science team. She works primarily on enabling surgical complication prediction through advanced analytics for the VELYS Digital Surgery platform.
Chin-Wen leads portfolio-spanning advanced analytics projects supporting R&D in our Medical Devices organizations in Johnson & Johnson, leveraging methods in artificial intelligence to solve critical business questions. By combining her knowledge and experiences in biology and machine learning, she is passionate about improving patient engagement and outcomes in their health journey. Chin-Wen earned her PhD in Genetics from Cambridge University and is also an alumnus from Columbia DSI MS in Data Science program.
Dr. Neri has over ten years of (post-Ph.D.) experience applying data science to inform complex business decisions in the finance, consulting, and health care industries. He has a proven track record in building from scratch high-performing teams of research and data scientists in order to drive the development of internal start-up initiatives. Dr. Neri holds a PhD in time series econometrics from NYU and is currently the Director of Real-World Data Analytics at Janssen, the pharmaceutical arm of Johnson & Johnson.
I currently work as a Scientist at Johnson and Johnson in the Computational Genomics team in the Population Analytics group leading the development of (1) bioinformatics workflows for annotation and QC/filtration of variants in large-scale population-based WES and WGS data, and (2) AI/ML approaches to predict target liability scores and to identify subgroups of patients with depression-focused disorders from the many data sources available in the UK Biobank. Before that, I was working in IQVIA in the clinical trial realm using real-world healthcare data leveraging AI/ML approaches. I have an undergraduate and master’s degree in Computer Science from Delaware State University. I received Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from the University of Delaware (in 2019), where I utilized multi-modal genomics data and ML techniques to identity bio-markers responsible for plant reproduction.
